What is the biggest misconception about the industry?
Customers perception that our products are easy to source. When it comes to fasteners, there are thousands of different varieties, requiring varying tolerances, and we purchase from the best mills in the world because superior quality is a hallmark of our Posi-Grip screws.

What is your biggest current challenge at work?
Sourcing & maintaining sufficient inventories of tools, fasteners & accessories for the various contractors that we partner with and supply.

What keeps you up at night?
Geopolitical risks and supply chain uncertainty.

What project is your company most proud of?
Canon House, NSA at Fort Meade, and many more that we can't discuss for security reasons.

How does your ABC membership help your company?
Contact & exposure with current and prospective contractors that we do business with or would like to.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
Be a professional athlete.

I like to refurbish old muscle cars.

What do you look forward to each day?
The challenge of business.

What are you like to work for?
You would have to ask my team, but I think that I listen, am passionate about what I do, truly care for my team, and try to mentor & help any way that I can.

What is your favorite metro Washington hangout/restaurant?
Caps Center, I'm a huge hockey fan.

Who would you trade places with for a day?
A Nascar driver.

What is your favorite movie or tv show?
The Godfather trilogy.

What do you do for fun?
Fish, golf and hunt.

What business/career advice do you wish you had when you began?
Learn as much as you can, in everything that you do, because knowledge is power.

What was your first job?
Hanging drywall during the summers while in high school.
