What is the biggest misconception about the industry?
I feel the biggest misconception about the construction industry is that its only for the unskilled workers and you can’t be successful.
What is your biggest current challenge at work?
My largest challenge at work right now is trying to stay fully staffed and trying to have a plan for post pandemic world in construction.
What keeps you up at night?
Something that keeps me up at night making sure our workload stays consistent and we continue to produce in a timely manner.
What project is your company most proud of?
The project I am most proud of is the Eastern Air National Guard (ARNG) Aircraft Maintenance Instructional Building at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania.
The 85,000-square-foot building is the largest military construction project in Pennsylvania National Guard history. River Supply provided the take off, shop drawings and fabricated the MCM wall panels, including complex curved radius panels, on the entire exterior.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
A successful father and husband

When I was 16 I helped start and run a horse company, where we would buy, train, and sell trail riding horses
What do you look forward to each day?
Each day I look forward to the unknown challenges that may arise and working to provide a resolution. This provides a sense of accomplishment.
What are you like to work for?
I would say I am very easy going and understanding, door is always open and my team should feel they can have a genuine conversation about concerns or issues.

What do you do for fun?
For fun I enjoy spending time hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, and pretty much anything outdoors. Of recent I have had great pleasure in watching and coaching my sons as they venture into extracurricular sports.
What business/career advice do you wish you had when you began?
Relationships are everything in this industry, stay connected and keep your customers happy and satisfied to the best of your ability.
What book are you currently reading?
I have recently finished “That Wild Country” and am about to start “Where Men Win Glory: The Odyssey of Pat Tillman”.
What was your first job?
My first job was working for a auto salvage yard in my home town at the age of 12.
