What is the biggest misconception about the industry?
Probably that there aren't as many women in construction, when actually we are very present in the industry.

What is your biggest current challenge at work?
Getting potential clients to understand that mold prevention is needed throughout construction, and not just during the framing phase.

What keeps you up at night?
If it's the winter, it's whether or not my horse is too cold, and if it's summer, is my horse too hot.

What project is your company most proud of?
We have two - First is being a major part of our customer being awarded millions of dollars in a mold insurance claim and recently bringing on one of the largest multifamily developers in the nation as a client!

How does your ABC membership help your company?
So many ways! We are a newer firm, so getting our name out there is always beneficial, but learning about new projects, hearing about others' experiences in the industry, and meeting new people.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
A professional equestrian.

Tell us something no one in the industry knows about you.
How much of a homebody I am, even though I'm very outgoing and love talking to anyone.

What do you look forward to each day?
Eating, spending time with my husband and going back to sleep!

What are you like to work for?
Fun and positive.

What is your favorite metro Washington hangout/restaurant?
I always love the Manor Country Club events.

Who would you trade places with for a day?
I think it would be really neat to spend the day as Martha Stewart on her incredible farm.

What is your favorite movie or TV show?
Any franchise of Real Housewives or Sex and the City.

What do you do for fun?
I horseback ride and love to play with my 28 year old retired horse that I have had since childhood named Sadie.

What business/career advice do you wish you had when you began?
Not to to take the negative too seriously and to not have the same level of expectations for everyone.

What book are you currently reading?
TikTok :P

What was your first job?
I was a camp counselor at a summer camp that I attended and started working at when I was 16!
