What is the biggest misconception about the industry?
Sometimes recruiting agencies can be seen as a no value add to a company. Some send dozens of resumes and hope one sticks. Some pass you around from person to person, thus preventing a true collaboration from developing. But as a boutique agency, we don't see our clients as a transaction, we seem them as a partner we can grow along with. We aim to develop relationships with longevity so that our team is an extension of our client. We only succeed if we provide true value to our clients.
What project is your company most proud of?
Truthfully there isn't a single placement we are most proud of. We get the same satisfaction in helping a company find the right person for an entry-level position as we do for a C-Suite position.
That said, we are proud of how much we have grown our client base over the past three years. Our goal has always been to build a network of trusted clients while still allowing our team to provide strategic attention to each position. While our client base has grown just over 100%, we have made sure to keep that boutique feel that our clients appreciate.
How does your ABC membership help your company?
Becoming a member of ABC has been the best decision we've made for The W22! Through events and outreach, we have developed a number of local partnerships with clients that consistently turn to us to fill their roles. While we do still work with clients all around the United States, we've found that our local partnerships are stronger due to the benefits that our ABC membership provides.

What business/career advice do you wish you had when you began?
Keep a career journal. Jot down successes/failures they happen, record important stats/results, note what you enjoy about your day to day and what you don't. It's easy to forget but critical to remember as you move forward in your career.
