What is the biggest misconception about the industry?
That solar is too expensive. An organization can either choose to pay the utility in perpetuity for energy or can invest in solar which generates a high return, makes use of underutilized space and is great for the environment.
What is your biggest current challenge at work?
We have been very fortunate to hire awesome people since we started. Continuing to find, train and retain great people will be critical to growth and will remain our greatest challenge.
What keeps you up at night?
My family, my business and an occasional beer league hockey game.
How does your ABC membership help your company?
The relationships and friendships established through ABC have been invaluable to the growth of our business. Education and training opportunities have also helped our team remain informed and competitive.

Learning something new...sometimes a result of falling ftat on my face.

What do you do for fun?
Spending time with my family hopefully while skiing, riding motorcycles/dirt-bikes, playing golf or ice hockey.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
An astronaut.

The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber.
What business/career advice do you wish you had when you began?
My grandfather recently told me: "You can't be everywhere but you can read everywhere." Staying current with news and technology is necessary to run a proactive business and key to providing all stakeholders with unmatched value.
