Who We Are: ABC of Metro Washington Membership is for companies who work in the DMV’s commercial construction industry.
Members represent the entire construction team – general contractors, specialty contractors, developers, material and equipment suppliers, and related professional firms (industry associates).
ABC of Metro Washington is one of 67 chapters representing more than 500 companies locally, while ABC represents more than 23,000 members nationwide.  ABC of Metro Washington was the second chapter in the nation, chartered in 1958, and is one of the top chapters in size and performance.
What We Do: Founded on the merit shop philosophy, Associated Builders and Contractors helps its members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work.
