Learn about Mr. Press's story highlighting his career path and accomplishments during his successful tenure in the construction industry. He'll shed light on what helped him along the way and how young professionals today can create their own successful career path.

Leigh Press is fourth-generation constructor in the Washington metropolitan area, Leigh Press has been in the metro Washington construction landscape for nearly 40 years.

Graduating from Jacksonville University in the spring of 1984, after playing div 1 soccer for the JU Dolphins, he started working for Press Construction in August. A small family-owned business specializing in pre-engineered metal building. He quickly learned how to walk steel, operate field equipment, and all the office responsibilities required to maintain a business.

In 1992, PCC Construction Components, Inc. was born, focusing on architectural wall systems. In 1999, the company transitioned into the glazing industry. Today PCC is divided between glazing systems and rainscreen systems. Working on the building façade, PCC typically represents the Architect’s signature. The final product must look attractive and be watertight 100% of the time.

Leigh has the great fortune to lead TEAMPCC as they celebrate 31 years.
